I’m a Guyanese-born, Brooklyn-raised photographer and visual artist. I was raised by hardworking immigrant parents who taught me to value commitment, resilience, and connection. These values remain at the heart of everything I do.

JOURNEY.
PRESERVE.
FOREVER.
My childhood was filled with photo albums, film rolls, and printed memories. Growing up, we had a mix of point-and-shoot film cameras and disposables that we’d take everywhere and have developed at the store. One of our close family friends was a photographer, and he documented so many of our milestones. Those images shaped my memory and helped me stay connected to my family, many of whom lived scattered across the world.
This is why I believe in the power of printed photographs, the kind that live in frames, albums, and keepsake boxes. The kind you reach for years later and feel something. These pieces of your history deserve to be seen, held, known, and remembered.

Motherhood opened a new chapter. I began working in classrooms and returned to school to study childhood education, seeking the flexibility to be present for my children while continuing to build a life rooted in creativity and care.
Through every shift, I have always been an artist. I am curious, resourceful, and inspired by the process of bringing ideas to life.

Art was a constant in my life. I grew up drawing, painting, and creating intricate structures from beads, wire, safety pins, styrofoam, and other materials we picked up on frequent visits to the local craft store. My mother nurtured that love for making with her own hands, and it became a language I never stopped speaking. After leaving corporate life, I returned to that passion more intentionally. I learned how to sew and became a seamstress, designing dresses and exploring the joy of creating something from nothing.

I studied accounting, became a CPA, and worked as an auditor in the investment management industry. That experience sharpened my eye for detail and strengthened my sense of discipline. But beyond the structure of numbers, there was always a pull toward something more expressive.

What began as a way to document my creative work and family quickly became something more. I fell in love with the way photographs hold onto joy, preserve history, and quietly remind us that our stories are worth remembering.

Now, I photograph weddings, milestones, branding sessions, and events for people who want their memories preserved with artistry and care. My work is inspired by legacy and grounded in the belief that the photographs we keep close tell the story of who we are.
Photography is how I create lasting love, connection, and identity because what we hold onto shapes how we remember, and how we live.
